The generosity of the Ashland community came through again at the June 2022 Green Bag Pickup. Over 1420 households left green bags on their doorsteps, filled with food, so that volunteers could collect and deliver those bags to the ever-growing need at the Ashland Emergency Food Bank. In addition, over 110 donors, sent financial donations, almost $6000, to supplement the food being collected. Thank you to all these donors!
Thanks to all the volunteers who greeted the drivers, unloaded the cars, sorted the food, then packed the Food Bank shelves. The numbers of those needing food in our town has expanded and the Ashland Food Project is playing a big part in keeping the AEFB store shelves full.
