Ashland Food Project donor drive

Our Spring Donor Drive is coming in April

The annual donor drive for the Ashland Food Project is just around the corner. Although expanding the donor base for the Ashland Food Project is a year round goal, we hope to gather support during our spring drive as we share in this communal outreach effort.

Expanding our donor base is of significant importance for several reasons. A larger donor base enables the AFP to reach more individuals and households willing to contribute to our cause, thereby creating a sustainable food supply for distribution at the Ashland Community Food Bank. This diversity of support helps to mitigate the risk of donation fluctuations as community members cease being volunteer donors for a variety of reasons. A steady donor base helps to ensure a more stable flow of resources to the Food Bank even in times of economic challenges.

Additionally, a larger donor base can lead to an increase in the variety and quantity of food donations, ultimately enhancing the overall supply of food available for distribution and better meeting our community’s needs. And importantly, engaging a broader base of donors promotes community involvement and a truly grassroots effort in addressing local food insecurity issues while fostering a sense of solidarity and collective action here in Ashland and the greater Rogue Valley.

Our mission at the Food Project is about building community.
