After 50 years of service as the Ashland Emergency Food Bank, our local food bank has a new name. Moving forward, the Ashland Community Food Bank will continue to serve our local population in need of food.
“As our board reflected on 50 years of serving Ashland and Talent, we recognized that we’re able to meet food insecurity in our community because of the network of support and partnership we have in our community,” said Amey Broeker, the food bank’s executive director.
As the need for services at the food bank has increased, so too has community involvement. This name change reflects the growing collaboration between the food bank and supporting community members and other local organizations.
